People need someone—or something—to move their hearts.
Take me, for example. I’m often touched, sometimes unsettled, by people—their words, their actions, their presence. Yet I notice how quickly we all form opinions: “That’s just how he is.” “She’s always like that…” We put people in boxes, sometimes without even realizing it.
I once heard that both people with many friends and people without friends can struggle with communication.
We all want to be understood, to be cared for—
But so often, we let outside influences shape how we act and who we show ourselves to be.
Wisdom whispers: Keep doing good. Clothe yourself in kind words. Never stop learning, never lose your humility.
If we do this, we not only discover how to truly connect with others, but we also get to know ourselves—and the gifts we have to share.
As for me, I want to keep my eyes on what matters. I want to live my life with love and humility, for as long as I have breath.
It’s true—some people dislike me. And if I’m honest with myself, I realize I can’t like everyone either.
So I pray:
Help me, Jesus.
Teach me to keep loving, to keep learning, and to stay humble—no matter what others think.
