My Journey
Born and raised in Myanmar, I experienced firsthand the realities of a society shaped by civil war, discrimination, and lack of human rights awareness. Despite these challenges, I found joy in teaching children, supporting my community, and advocating for those in need. My perspective on human rights and personal agency shifted when I pursued theological studies at Asia Pacific Theological Seminary, where I learned the power of choice, critical thinking, and personal transformation. In 2025, I was appointed as a member of the Ueda City Board of Education for a four-year term (2025–2029).
In 2005, I moved to Japan, where I witnessed the deep struggles of individuals suffering from social withdrawal (hikikomori), depression, and extreme societal pressure. One tragic event—the suicide of a young man—became the turning point that led me to dedicate my life to supporting bereaved families, school dropouts, hikikomori, struggling educators, and couples in crisis.
