Two Simple Stories

There’s a young man who recently started working.
He spent more than ten years as a hikikomori.

For his parents, his small steps into society mean everything.
Helping him continue that journey isn’t just about him—it’s also about his aging parents.
I believe parents should take time to talk with the people who support their child.
Without that, they may not know what to hope for—or how far their child has come.

At the same time, the young man needs to learn to share his current state and struggles.
That sharing helps others understand how to support him toward healthy independence.

We can’t do this alone.
But together, we can move forward with wisdom.
