CHaa’s Diary: April 27th, 2025

Today, I witnessed a mother—

a mother who lives in constant fear and worry.

Worried about how others see her,

how they judge her thoughts,

even her hearing, even her understanding—

as if something is always lacking, not right.
And yet, in the middle of all that,

she is always thinking of what’s best for her child.

She can sing so beautifully.

She even writes her own lyrics.
People around often speak so shallowly.

Their words come out reactive—

not from deep thought,

not from bad intentions,

but also not from good ones either.
It’s as if they’re just bouncing back emotions—

talk first, hear second, react again.

No space to feel, no pause to understand.

No thought for others, and not even for themselves.

So shallow—

yet strangely heavy.

So demotivating,

or perhaps… designed to make you feel that way.
Still, there it is—

this desert,

this wilderness in our lives and situations.
And yet…

Someone will make a way through that wilderness.

Spring water will rise in that dry land.
Life must be deeper than this.

And I choose to believe it is.
